OK, we admit it. We’re oh so hot for Jake Gyllenhall…so that makes us and about 50 million other people!
And it’s for good reason cuz Mr. Gyllenhaal doesn’t only have his licks down solid as an actor, wowing us wild in films as diverse as Danny Darko, Jarhead and, of course, Brokeback Mountain, but he remains one of the sexiest and most popular young stars in the whole Hollywood cosmos.
As far as skin is concerned, Jake seemed to have an initial reluctance to show much of his, but in the last few years, he’s been increasingly less inhibited in both film and public, giving fans ample opportunities to check out his fine form. Zachary David Alexander Efron (born October 18, 1987) is an American actor and singer. He began acting in the early 2000s, and became known to young audiences after his roles in the Disney Channel Original Movie High School Musical, the WB series Summerland, and the film version of the Broadway musical Hairspray. Speaking to Newsweek in June 2006, director Adam Shankman described Efron as “arguably the biggest teen star in America right now.” In 2007, right before the release of High School Musical 2, Rolling Stone declared him the “poster boy for tweenyboppers” and featured him in their late August issue.
Let’s start the summer off right, shall we?
Chris Carmack was born in Washington, D.C. and grew up in Derwood, Maryland. As a youngster, he enjoyed participating in all types of sports: baseball, basketball, football, and wrestling. At Magruder High School, however, his attentions turned to theatre and he began working passionately on three productions per year, on-stage and off, in addition to competing in numerous drama festivals.
After graduation, Mr. Carmack attended New York University to pursue an Arts degree at the Tisch School. He left NYU after he was discovered by a modelling scout and decided to have a go at the profession. His looks were exactly what Bruce Weber was seeking for Abercrombie & Fitch. The other catalogues and editorials that he has worked for include: Lord and Taylor, Macy’s, Target, Who A U, ELLE France, Nautica, Guess?, and Cosmo Girl.
After two years in New York City, Chris made the decision to move to L. A. and dedicate himself to acting. He is best known for his performance as Luke on the first season of The O.C., but did not continue because producers couldn’t guarantee him airtime in the upcoming year. As of 2005, Carmack is a model for Ezra Fitch, the latest offspring brand from Abercrombie & Fitch.
In 2006, Carmack starred in the movie Lovewrecked with Amanda Bynes and Jonathan Bennett and decided to hone his acting skills in the theatres of New York and London.
From 16 March – 21 May 2006 Carmack starred in the Off Broadway production of Joe Orton’s Entertaining Mr. Sloane at the Laura Pels Theatre. The play, directed by Scott Ellis, also featured Tony Award nominees Alec Baldwin and Jan Maxwell. The latter left the production early due to friction with co-star Baldwin.
In 2006 Carmack made his London stage debut in a rare revival of Tennessee Williams’ “Summer and Smoke”, a play unperformed in London for 55 years. Carmack starred opposite Rosamund Pike and was directed by former Royal Shakespeare Company artistic director Adrian Noble. It played the Apollo Theatre from 21 October – 25 November 2006, failing to complete its scheduled run.
Carmack has just signed up to play Susan Mayer’s cousin Tim in the worldwide-smash television show Desperate Housewives.
James Marsden is sadly one of those actors whose talents and looks have not translated into huge success and it’s a definite pity cuz this is one extremely fine looking piece of masculine machinery that deserves on both accounts to be better known and loved. There is something so inexorably sad and sick-making about the death of someone so beautiful and so talented. May you rest in peace and may angels sing you to sleep.

I stumbled on this picture of 80s rocker Billy Idol recently and I couldn’t help thinking there’s no way that any half naked studling with dyed platinum hair wearing black thigh boots and a leather thong could be 100 percent heterosexual. 80 percent maybe, even 90, but not a single chance that this boy hasn’t sucked face and more with another male of the species.
And let me say that was one seriously comforting reflection given that this particular retro-rocker has always exercised a kind of fatal attraction on my nether parts, that is to say, I’d gladly give a couple years of life for the chance to hang on his pouty lips whilst his fingers did the walking down my personal primrose path.
